The Round of 16 action at Euro 2024 concludes on Tuesday with two matches. One of those is the clash between Romania and the Netherlands.
If the Dutch are to make to the last eight, they will certainly need to improve on their previous defeat at the hands of Austria that forced them into third place in their group, but a tie with Romania could work in their favour.
We’ve looked at some of the best football betting offers, odds and markets from our range of football betting sites to provide you with Romania v Netherlands betting tips.

Romania v Netherlands Match Preview
As the quarter-final picture starts to become clearer, there is still time for a couple more brushstrokes in Germany and with the final day of Round of 16 matches taking place on Tuesday, we also know that one of Romania or the Netherlands will soon be making their exit.
Should it be the former of these two nations, you would have to say that Edward Iordănescu’s men have at the least met the expectations of the pre-tournament guides or at best, gone one step further than many would have predicted.
In fairness, Romania were handed one of the easier group stage draws and with Group E being considered as the widest open of the lot, there was always the potential for nations to take points off each other.
Which when you look at the final standings was precisely the case, all of the four teams involved earning four points. Romania topping the group with the best goal difference after the usual head-to-head mechanism was of no use at this point.
A mixed bag in terms of results, but then the same can be said for their upcoming opponents. Just like Romania, Netherlands earned just four points from the nine on offer but on reflection, that figure is slightly underwhelming.
Especially when you consider their bright start to the tournament and their comeback win over Poland. Victory that saw them overturn an early deficit to snatch three points and in their next encounter with France, it was the officials who snatched three points from them with a contentious VAR decision.
While there is no doubt that the Dutch have millions of pounds worth of talent within their ranks, but they were certainly outshone by Austria in their last group stage outing and with Ralf Rangnick’s men getting the better of Ronald Koeman’s, it deprived De Oranje top spot in Group D.
Then again, with the way the tournament bracket has developed for the knockout phase, missing out on top spot may actually turn out to be a blessing in disguise for the 1988 winners and with a host of contenders on the other side, the Netherlands are not planning on going home yet.
But now it is time for the first of my two tips and with the Dutch only keeping one clean sheet, I think they will concede against Romania. However, I do think they have enough to bounce back from their recent loss to Austria and therefore, a win and both teams to score is priced at 11/4.
In addition to this, Jeremie Frimpong has had an excellent season with Bayer Leverkusen and will be hoping for the same with his national team. There may be a question mark over whether he starts but even with this, I am backing him to open Tuesday’s scoring at odds of 8/1.
