Crystal Palace were the latest team to cut ties with their manager, when Roy Hodgson stepped down following a bout of ill health.

He had been strongly rumoured to lose his job following a shocking run of form and was very promptly replaced by Oliver Glasner, making him the third manager to lose their job this season.

With just weeks to go until the end of the season, it appears increasingly likely that there will be no further departures with the market now casting an eye onto next season with Erik ten Hag’s future still up in the air following a frustrating season.

Next Manager to be Sacked Top Tip

The next manager to depart is a tough one to call, with the obvious changes already made and the other clubs struggling at the bottom of the Premier League in a position where they may view themselves as part of a longer-term project.

Erik ten Hag will remain under pressure for the remainder of the season after what has been a poor campaign, but the desires of Sir Jim Radcliffe and his team at Old Trafford remain to be seen and it is likely that he will last at Manchester United at least until the end of the season.

Roy Hodgson was our previous tip and that one came through after he left his position at Crystal Palace, and for the next one, given Sheffield United’s abysmal recent form, is Chris Wilder. Not only are they losing heavily, but his demeanor has reached such a level that it is clear he is under huge pressure.
