When the draw was revealed for the last 16, this game looked as though it had the potential to be the game of the round.
On paper, France are better than Belgium, and rightful favourites here. But France have underperformed so far, they’ve got Kylian Mbappe in a mask, probably lowering his ability a little, and they face a Belgium side here with one or two of their own stars, who have the ability to steal the stage.

France won their group opener 1-0 narrowly over Austria, but then drew their two games after that, with the Netherlands and most recently Poland.

Belgium finished second in a group where all four teams finished on four points, with one win, one draw and one loss.
They lost their opener to Slovakia, draw with Ukraine, but in the middle of those games, won 2-0 over Romania, and that will give them hope, play like that and they have a chance here.
