Granada vs Real Madrid Free Bets, Betting Tips & Predictions

Newly-crowned La Liga champions Real Madrid will look to keep the momentum going when they head to Granada on Saturday evening.

Having grabbed victory from the jaws of defeat against Bayern Munich in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final clash in midweek, Carlo Ancelotti will have to manage his squad carefully over the coming weeks ahead of the Wembley finale.

Indeed, it appears to be more probable that he will use his second-string side, but they have been very dependable whenever called upon.

Among those likely to come into the fold, include Brahim Diaz and Dani Ceballos, although Aurelien Tchouameni, who picked up a foot injury against Bayern, has been ruled out, and his chances of being fit for the Champions League seem slim.

In contrast, the writing has been the wall for Granada for some time, and their relegation could be confirmed if Mallorca beat Las Palmas earlier in the day.

But how will things pan out? I have delved into the betting markets ahead of kick-off and suggested a couple of value betting tips to consider adding to your line.

Real Madrid to sweep aside Granada

Last weekend, Ancelotti took Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Junior, and Rodrygo out of the firing line against Cadiz, but they still romped to a 3-0 victory.

This term, they have been heads and shoulders above the chasing pack, and Los Blancos, who wrapped up the title with four games to spare, are on a seven-game winning streak in the league.

As things stand, if Real emerge victorious in their remaining games, they could register 99 points, their second-highest tally ever.

Momentum, of course, is a big thing in football, and Ancelotti won’t want to see his side let their inexorably high standards drop against Granada.

This a Granada side, however, that has notoriously struggled against Real, and their sole victory in La Liga was at home 11 years ago.

In the last five meetings with Real, Granada have scored just twice, and it has been easy pickings for visitors.

I don’t see things being any different this weekend, and for my opening gambit, I’m leaning into Real to win to nil, which is priced at an inviting 15/8 with Paddy Power.

Man of the moment Joselu to fire again

Joselu will surely have done enough to merit a start after his two-goal showing against Bayern.

With his double, the forward became just the third player to score a brace as a sub in a Champions League semi-final.

Despite failing to nail down a regular starting berth this term, Joselu has still chipped in with 18 goals in all competitions which is impressive.

He could well put Granada to the sword and pop up with a double, and I have sourced odds of 11/2 with William Hill for you to feast your eyes on.
