West Ham travel to Germany on Thursday evening for a Europa League quarter-final clash with Bayer Leverkusen.

The German outfit are unbeaten in 2023/24 so far but West Ham will take solace in the fact that Leverkusen struggled against Qarabag FK in the last-16 phase of the competition - drawing 2-2 and winning 3-2 in the two legs. Back West Ham to beat Bayer Leverkusen at 13/2 with bet365.

Jarrod Bowen injury update

Ahead of facing Bayer Leverkusen, West Ham have been dealt a major blow on the injury front.

This comes with Jarrod Bowen being ruled out of Thursday’s Europa League quarter-final clash.

Bowen was injured in a collision with Wolves’s Mario Lemina during the Hammers’ 2-1 victory at Molineux over the weekend and was forced off early in the second half, with assessments since revealing he will not be fit in time for this week’s first-leg meeting with the Bundesliga leaders.

While Bowen is not expected to be out for too long, his absence from Thursday’s game is a major blow for the east Londoners.

The winger is enjoying a superb 2023/24 season for the Hammers, with 19 goals in all competitions making him their top scorer this term.
