West Brom v Sheffield United Match Preview
At this stage of the season, Sheffield United are looking the strongest side in the division, as evidenced by their standing atop the Championship table.
With six wins in their last seven and no defeat since October 23, they have put together a run of form that has taken them to the top of the table and with a bit of a gap starting to open up to third and fourth place.
While they were expected to be strong at the start of the season, last year's Premier League baggage was expected to be such that they would take a bit of time to turn themselves round before mounting a promotion challenge.
Their consistency - along with Burnley - has put them ahead of someone like Leeds who had been strongly tipped to go up but cannot maintain winning runs for long.
I really like the look of the Blades this year. They are a strong unit with a bit of excitement littered around the pitch, none more so than in Jesurun Rak-Sakyi on the wing, who has the ability to be a real game-changer.
This weekend though, they face a pretty tough assignment at the Hawthorns where the Baggies have a curious record.
You would usually pick it out as one of the tougher away trips, but West Brom sit 21st in the home form table with two wins and five draws at home this season - four of which have been 0-0.
It doesn't take a genius to figure out what I'm going to back in this game. Both sides are good enough to get the win, but I think a draw will suit them both just fine so I'd be backing a draw at 12/5 with betfair.
More specifically, I'm backing 0-0 at 15/2 with Star Sports.
