Tottenham v Arsenal Match Preview
Despite being away from home, Arsenal have been made favourites for this game by football betting sites but as with any big derby match, anything can happen, and Tottenham will not want to roll over on home soil in front of an expectant crowd.
Looking at Arsenal first as favourites and they have two wins and a draw from their opening three games of the season.
Wins came over Wolves at home on the opening day, followed by a good 2-0 win away at Aston Villa.
However, they only managed a 1-1 draw at home to Brighton in their most recent game before the international break. It’s not a bad result, but the expectations on Arsenal this season are so high that it was a little disappointing.
It’s been more of a mixed start for Tottenham, one win, one loss and one draw, fans will definitely think there’s more to come from this team, and there needs to be.
The highlight came in their only home fixture, a 4-0 win over Everton where they were excellent, cutting apart the Everton defence on multiple occasions.
But sandwiched either side, a loss at Newcastle and draw at Leicester.
Back home, there’s no doubt that Spurs are far more comfortable, and play a better brand of football, but this is a big test, against a strong side, and is also a derby.
