Steelers v Bengals Tips: NFL Week 18 Picks & Betting Offers

The final week of the 2024 NFL season has arrived. Saturday features a pair of games, including an AFC North clash at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, so we’ve crafted our Steelers v Bengals tips in the form of a bet builder.
The 8-8 Cincinnati Bengals face off against the 10-6 Pittsburgh Steelers for the second time this season. In Week 13, Pittsburgh defeated Cincinnati 44-38 as 2.5-point road favourites, with the game comfortably surpassing the 46.5-point total.
The stakes couldn’t be higher in Week 18. The Bengals must secure a win to keep their playoff hopes alive, while the Steelers aim to lock in the No. 5 seed in the AFC. Leading UK betting sites list the Bengals as narrow 1.5-point favourites, with the total set at 48.5 points.

Joe Burrow Over 2.5 Passing Touchdowns
The Bengals have been on a roll with four consecutive victories since their Week 13 home loss to the Steelers. Conversely, the Steelers are enduring a three-game losing streak, with their defence struggling and conceding 90 points over those three outings.
Containing the Bengals' passing attack will be a monumental challenge for the Steelers, who have allowed 13 passing touchdowns across their last five games. Joe Burrow appears set for another impressive performance, so our Steelers v Bengals tips begin with Cincinnati’s star quarterback.
Burrow has thrown at least three touchdown passes in eight straight games. He’s been outstanding throughout the season, amassing 4,641 passing yards, 42 touchdowns, and only eight interceptions. Last week, Burrow led the Bengals to a 30-24 overtime win against the Denver Broncos, completing 39 of 49 attempts for 412 yards and three touchdowns.
In the Bengals’ Week 13 loss to Pittsburgh, Burrow completed 28 of 38 passes for 309 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. Over six career games against the Steelers, he’s thrown for 14 touchdowns, cementing his status as a pivotal player in this matchup.
Ja'Marr Chase Anytime Touchdown Scorer
So, who will be on the receiving end of Burrow’s touchdown passes this Saturday? Ja’Marr Chase leads the Bengals with an impressive 117 receptions for 1,612 yards and 16 touchdowns. Tee Higgins added three scores to his tally last week, bringing his season total to 10 touchdowns, while Andrei Iosivas has contributed with six receiving touchdowns in 2024.
The Steelers have conceded 36 offensive touchdowns this season, 22 of which have come through the air. Of those, wide receivers have accounted for 14 touchdowns, tight ends for seven, and just one has been caught by a running back.
Joe Burrow doesn’t often target his tight ends. Mike Gesicki has managed 57 receptions for 597 yards and two touchdowns, while Tanner Hudson and Drew Sample have combined for 34 catches, 238 yards, and two scores.
Ja’Marr Chase poses the greatest threat to Pittsburgh’s defence. The three-time Pro Bowler has scored nine touchdowns in his last seven appearances, finding the end zone in five of those games. Despite recording nine catches for 102 yards against Denver last week, Chase didn’t score.
Chase has been a consistent target for Burrow, seeing at least 11 targets in seven of his last nine outings. He caused problems for the Steelers in Week 13, securing six receptions for 86 yards and a touchdown. Across five career games against Pittsburgh, Chase has scored four touchdowns, making him a prime candidate to shine once again.
