Rajasthan Royals v Royal Challengers Bengaluru: IPL Betting Tips & Predictions

The latest cricket betting tips, predictions and betting offers from Freebets.com

The second game of the finals, but the first with definitive jeopardy.

For Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders, the teams involved in Qualifier One, there’s a safety net of a second chance later this week for the loser.

For this Eliminator clash, there’s no such luck for the loser. It’s Goodnight Vienna!

Here are two teams in contrasting form. Rajasthan have fallen away badly from top spot, losing their last four games added to Sunday’s final day washout against Kolkata. For Bengaluru, they have won six on the trot and are the white hot team in the comp at present.

You have to side with RCB to win this one, at 3/4 with betway.

Continuing on that theme, bet365 have a boosted bet builder available at 2/1 on an RCB win, in-form Virat Kohli to score 30 plus runs and any of their players to score fifty in the match.

IPL 2024: Rajasthan Royals vs RCB

Whilst I suggested runs, runs, runs in the Qualifier One match between Kolkata and Hyderabad, I’d be very wary of doing the same in this one because it wouldn’t surprise me at all to see Rajasthan getting bowled out cheaply.

I have to admit, I didn’t expect at this stage to be so downbeat on the chances of a Rajasthan team who I tipped to win the title before a ball was bowled. But they look so far off it at present.

Another 2/1 shot is available with betway; RCB to win and there to be over 0.5 run outs in the match. There have been a plethora of run outs in recent matches in this competition, so that’s something undoubtedly worth taking on.

Green can leave Rajasthan feeling Blue

I can see big Australian all-rounder Cameron Green having a good day for Bengaluru - he’s had a few of them lately.

Green has contributed significantly for his side in the last three matches, more so with the bat but also with the ball. From number four in their order, he has posted scores of 46, 32 not out and 38 not out. He has also claimed a couple of handy wickets with his seamers.

Betway have him at 6/5 to score 30 plus runs in this fixture and 13/4 to score a half-century. I would be considering both prices.

You look down Bengaluru’s batting order, and they have serious depth. If in-form Kohli doesn’t get you, the chances are Faf du Plessis, Green or Glenn Maxwell will.

And Green is the type of power player who can catch up if someone batting ahead of him gets off to a decent start.

With that in mind, Ladbrokes’ 6/1 on Green to be his side’s top batter in the match is very juicy.

If he does contribute with the bat and chips in with the ball in a victory, that leaves him in a great position to be named the player of the match. Paddy Power have that priced up at 12/1.
