Falcons to Beat Steelers

I’ll take Kirk Cousins and the Falcons to win on opening day. Is Cousins as good as he once was? No, but he’s got a ton of nice weapons in Atalanta, who will hopefully carry him a little.

The same cannot be said for the Steelers, good without the ball, but huge questions marks when they have it. The Falcons take this to kick us off.

Bears to Beat Titans

The Bears are a team I fancy to go sneakly well this season, to do that, they have to beat the Titans here. A strong end to last season (comparatively speaking), combined with upgrades in key positions, especially with new quarterback Caleb Williams, there’s hope in Chicago.

For the Titans, it’s a case of listing the many ways in which they’ve got worse over the summer. I’ve little to no faith in Will Levis, and this is a game where the Bears can get the win.

Bills to Beat Cardinals

I think this will be a lot tighter than the odds suggest, with Josh Allen losing some of his biggest weapons in Buffalo this summer. They’ve recruited well though, and Allen is a master at making those around him that little bit better.

The Cardinals have Kyler Murray and plenty of others, to give them an exciting offensive group. But defensively, I think they’ll struggle, and that could cost them here and beyond, I’ll take the Bills to outscore the Cardinals.

Texans to Beat Colts

Call me silly, but I like the Houston Texans a lot this season. CJ Stroud carried the team to new heights last season, and he’s now got Stefon Diggs to throw to, a massive upgrade.

The Colts have a little to get excited about, but nowhere near as much for me. A good divisional game to kick us off, and one where I think the Texans make a statement.

Chargers to Beat Raiders

The final acca pick is the Chargers to beat the Raiders, I think the Chargers can really bounce back this year, forgetting last season’s disappointment.

But even with that to bounce back from, there’s not as many questions over the Chargers as there is the Raiders. And I’m not sure there’s too many answers in Las Vegas, so I’ll put my faith in the Chargers to start their bounce back here.
