The Netherlands and Turkey will round off the Euro 2024 quarter-final ties on Saturday evening when they collide at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.

Meanwhile, Turkey are expected to welcome back captain Halkan Calhonoglou and defender Samet Akaydin back into the fold after they both served one-match bans.

There was a hatful of chances missed against Romania, but the introduction of Malen was inspired while Cody Gakpo was a menace.
Xavi Simons orchestrated things well in midfield, and he became the youngest player in European Championship history at 21 years and 72 days to assist in back-to-back games.
Turkey, meanwhile, are through to their third Euro quarter-final, and their victory over Austria saw all three goals scored from the corners, the first time that had happened in the tournament.
The Netherlands’ side of the draw may look promising, and I expect them to make light work of Turkey.

Cody Gakpo on the goal trail again
Against Romania, Cody Gakpo had a starring role, and while the goalkeeper could have arguably done better as he was beaten at the near post, Gakpo has become the Netherlands’ main talisman.
