Masters Winners - Which Champions Dinner Had The Most Calories?

The 2025 Masters tournament gets underway on Thursday as Scottie Scheffler looks to defend his crown having claimed the green jacket for the second time in three years in 2024.
As is tradition, the reigning champion will host past winners of the Masters and select others on the evening of the Tuesday preceding the opening round, with a dinner and a menu directly selected themselves.
Menus have varied from the bland to the extreme this year, and thrown up plenty of colourful and calorific choices and Scheffler, who goes into this year's tournament as favourite to win again with most online betting sites, has named his for 2025.
You wouldn't blame someone for drooling over Scheffler's choices, but how does it compare to some of the previous winners in terms of calories consumed on the evening of the tournament?
And - just in case you were going to get stuck into some golf betting tips this week - does it affect performance in the upcoming tournament?
We've had a look at the past 11 selections dating back to 2015, counted the calories in their main selections (where more than one appetizer/main was offered, we picked the one with the higher calorie count) to pick out the heaviest pre-tournament meals.

They will be in for a treat at Augusta National on Tuesday night, but they'll know exactly what they're in for after Scottie Scheffler picked a very similar menu to two years ago - even if he did shave off a few calories this time round!
It doesn't look as though the number of calories has a direct impact on performance, although the best performance from a defending champion in the past 10 years came from Jordan Spieth, who picked one of the healthier meals from the list.
Coincidence? Yes it probably is!
So that's unlikely to form part of our golf betting tips for this week, but we'll have plenty more from Augusta throughout the week whether it's looking at the traditional Par 3 Tournament that takes place on Wednesday, a closer inspection of Rory McIlroy's Masters record or just good, old-fashioned betting tips to go with your free bets for the week.
