Manchester City close in on club record ahead of Real Madrid meeting

Manchester City clashed with Crystal Palace in Saturday’s early Premier League kick-off and came away with a 4-2 win to keep their title push going.

The Sky Blues must now turn their attention away from the title race as they take on Real Madrid at the Bernabeu in the first of two Champions League quarter-final ties on Tuesday. Back Man City to beat Real Madrid at 11/8 with bet365.

Manchester City closing in on record before Real Madrid

Ahead of Manchester City taking on Real Madrid, it has been revealed that the Sky Blues are now unbeaten in each of their last 25 games in all competitions for the first time since May 2023.

Manchester City have only been on a longer unbeaten run in their history twice before - between December 2017 and March 2021 (both 28 games).

If the Manchester outfit are to break their current record of 28 games, they will have to beat or draw with Real Madrid (both legs), Luton Town in a Premier League clash and Chelsea in the semi-finals of the FA Cup.

Should City indeed manage to navigate those fixtures without losing, they will be well on course to complete the treble for the second season in a row.
