Liverpool injury news for Trent Alexander-Arnold, Diogo Jota & Alisson

Liverpool’s Premier League title charge took a small hit over the weekend as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Manchester United.

But the Reds must now turn their attention to Europe as they prepare to face Atalanta in a Europa League quarter-final meeting at Anfield on Thursday. Back Liverpool to win at 4/11 with bet365.

Liverpool injury update before Atalanta

Here is the latest Liverpool injury news ahead of their Europa League meeting with Serie A side, Atalanta.

After being taken off on a stretcher with a knee injury vs Brentford in February, there were fears that Diogo Jota’s 2023/24 campaign was over.

However, Jurgen Klopp stated ahead of the Manchester United game that Jota is part of a group eyeing a return to training this week.

Alisson has missed Liverpool’s last eight Premier League matches due to illness and a hamstring issue. But the Brazilian does seem to be closing in on a return as Jurgen Klopp stated his hope that Alisson can feature in full team training this week.

Finally, Trent Alexander-Arnold injured his knee ligament in Liverpool’s win over Burnley two months ago. But he, like Jota, is expected to be back in full training this week.
