Liverpool have been handed a new quadruple injury boost ahead of their Europa League quarter-final tie vs Atalanta.

The Reds host the Italian outfit in the first of two legs on Thursday evening and are 1/3 with bet365 to pick up the win.

Liverpool injury boost

Liverpool have been dealing with a plethora of injury issues across 2024, with the likes of Mohamed Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alisson and Diogo Jota all spending time sidelined this year.

This has forced Jurgen Klopp to field many weakened starting line-ups across all competitions this calendar year.

However, ahead of facing Atalanta, Liverpool have been handed some much-needed good news on the injury front.

All of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Diogo Jota, Alisson and Stefan Bajcetic were filmed by the club participating in Tuesday afternoon’s session at their training centre in Kirkby ahead of the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final tie.

It is yet to be confirmed if any or all of the quartet will be fit enough to play some part in Liverpool’s latest European clash but it does bode well for the Merseysider’s Premier League title challenge. Jurgen Klopp’s side are currently 2nd in the table after drawing 2-2 with Manchester United at the weekend but are only behind 1st-place Arsenal via goal difference.
