Leeds v Coventry Match Preview
It is fair to say that Leeds fans still aren't entirely convinced with Daniel Farke, despite a 90-point season last campaign and three wins out of six so far this term.
The results have been pretty good, but there is growing discontent around the style of play Farke has adopted at Elland Road, with the 2-0 win away at Cardiff a perfect example of the problems he is facing.
It was as routine a win as Leeds could have possibly hoped for, but given an opponent who were on the roped almost before the game kicked off, the visitors were fairly uninspiring despite picking up three points.
There is an argument to say that Farke is still working out his best combinations having seen Crycensio Summerville and Georginio Rutter depart in the summer, but supporters will want to see at least a little bit more adventure over the coming weeks.
There is no doubt that he is happy for his players to control the game, get the first goal and then almost shut up shop by controlling possession while winding down the clock and not necessarily looking to score more goals, which is why a Leeds win to nil is my first tip of the day.
You can get that at 15/8 with 10Bet and it's not really a surprise to see such short odds considering they have kept four clean sheets already this season.
Coventry should be tricky opponents, but their season hasn't exactly got off to the start they'd have wanted having finished ninth last season.
They are currently 19th with one win and three defeats this campaign having gone down to Swansea last week, and though they will be spirited competition I don't think they will have enough for Leeds this week.
In terms of goalscorers, Joel Piroe might force his way into the starting XI for Leeds having scored twice from the bench but even if he is saved for the second half I can see him making a difference, so for Piroe to score in a 2-0 Leeds win you can find it at 21/1 with bet365, which looks tasty to me.
