Germany v Denmark Betting Tips, Odds & Match Preview - Euro 2024

Hosts Germany are back in action on Saturday as they take on Denmark in Dortmund in a real test of their Euro 2024 credentials.

Julian Nagelsmann’s side have been one of the strongest sides of the group stages but find themselves in undoubtedly the tougher side of the draw but up against a Denmark side who haven’t looked at their best so far this year.

We’ve looked at some of the best football betting offers, odds and markets from our range of football betting sites to provide you with Germany v Denmark betting tips.

Germany v Denmark Match Preview

After Switzerland pitted their wits against Italy, it will be Germany vs Denmark on Saturday evening, and there is a place in the Euros quarter-finals on the line.

Borussia Dortmund’s home ground will provide the backdrop, and Germany will go into this game full of confidence.

The hosts were in impressive form during the group stages, plundering home eight goals, and they have lived up to the hype.

Denmark, meanwhile, safely negotiated their way through Group C, and the 1992 winners will be looking to emulate their odyssey of three years ago when they reached the semi-finals.

A robust defence has been the foundation for the Danes, and compared to England, Germany will represent a serious step up.

This has the ingredients to be a classic, but how do I see things shaping up? Well, as per usual, I have given the full lowdown on this game and I have sprinkled a couple of Germany v Denmark betting tips for you to mull over ahead of kick-off.

Hosts to squeeze through

Compared to the team of three years ago, Germany have come a long way and they look like the force of old.

Denmark, let’s not forget, only conceded twice in the group stage, and they will be looking to play the role of party poopers.

While Germany’s only slip-up came against Switzerland, they can cut through teams like butter and Denmark have been warned.

Germany, who named the starting XI for all three group stage games are unlikely to shake things up too much, and Toni Kroos, who completed 323 passes against the Swiss, will look to orchestrate things.

Of the 28 meetings between the two sides, Germany have come out on top 15 times, and they have scored 17 more goals than the Danes in previous encounters.

Anyway, back to the Germany v Denmark betting tips. For my first pick, I think this will be an entertaining clash, and I’m swayed by Germany to win & BTTS which is available at a tasty 14/5 with Betway.

Jamal Musiala to give Germany a quick start

As expected, Jamal Musiala has been a breath of fresh air, and he has excelled in his first proper major tournament.

Apart from some brief cameos at Euro 2021, Musiala has highlighted his balletic skills at this edition of the Euros, and he is certainly a slippery customer.

It may still be relatively early days, but Musiala is currently in a foot race with team-mate Niclas Fullkrug for the Golden Boot (both on two goals).

As opposed to going for the usual goalscorer markets, I’m intrigued by a goalscorer special available at BetMGM.

Germany could come flying out of the traps against Denmark, and I like the look of Musiala to score inside the first 15 minutes which is available at a longer 18/1.
