Moreover, the bulk of the squad that enjoyed that extraordinary run of form remains in situ, which should translate to a bright start.
The likes of Jamie Sterry, Richard Wood, Owen Bailey, Luke Molyneux and Joe Ironside are something of a step up from what Accrington Stanley can offer, as they begin an awkward-looking campaign without legendary manager John Coleman, following his acrimonious sacking.
