Eurovision Final Odds 2024

The betting market is out for the Eurovision final, and as always, you can expect a lot of volatility with this market, so don’t be surprised to see some changes between now and the final as bookmakers begin to take bets.

Having said that, it appears as though we have two clear favourites for 2024, in the shape of Croatia and Israel.

Eurovision Favourites for 2024

The top eight nations in the betting lead the way, everyone else in the competition is priced up at triple figures or higher.

Here, let’s take a look at the leading contenders, and if you want to check out my betting tips then head over to my Eurovision betting tips article.

Croatia

Market leaders to win for some time now, Croatia are strong favourites to win in Malmo.

A catchy number, with a very good draw towards the end of the night, it would be a real shock if this was out of the top five, and is well fancied to be a lot higher than that.

Israel

Eurovision 2024

A song that’s caused a lot of controversy already, with protestors against the Middle East conflict airing their opinions.

Second favourites in the betting, and shortening, which came after images online showed the Italian public vote from the semi finals, with Israel receiving 40% of the vote from the Italian public.

Drawn 6 though, that definitely won’t help.

Switzerland

Drawn 21, Switzerland come here with a good draw, which has helped their chances.

The song comes across as something you’d expect to hear in a musical, with a big performance alongside, though some may find the theatrics of it all a bit too much.

France

In 25, second to last, France have been handed a great draw. This big number is sure to grab the attention before the closing act.

Surrounded by slightly more upbeat numbers, the vocals on this song could really have their time to shine thanks to the draw, and that could make this a very popular choice with the public.

Ireland

There may not be another song in the competition that will be as marmite as the Irish entry this year.

Some will love it, plenty will hate it, and I don’t think there is any middle ground. It’s loud, scary, and dark, plus Ireland are drawn 10, which won’t help.

Ukraine

Being drawn to go second, after the host nation, is incredibly tough on Ukraine, and really hampers their chances of success.

Two female artists, big in Ukraine, are on show here, and the country will still get some public support no doubt, but that’s unlikely to be enough from this draw.

Italy

Eurovision 2024

Possibly my favourite song of the competition, Italy are drawn in the middle of the pack, but don’t have any of the other big contenders around them, so could really shine from this position.

I think people will remember the track too, so it could be a good night for Italy.

Netherlands

Eurovision 2024

A really catchy number, and a song about European unity, which will no doubt go down well with many other countries.

But this song has suffered badly from the draw, in 5th and straight before Israel, one of the favourites, it couldn’t have got much worse.

What Odds on United Kingdom to Win Eurovision?

Olly Alexander will represent the United Kingdom at the 2024 Eurovision and he’s one of the outsiders to win the event, priced up at 200/1 to win with Unibet.

Some may know Olly from his band Years And Years, and it’s been some time since we’ve had such an established artist represent the UK.

But while the song is good, and the performance of it is also good, Olly’s vocals have come under criticism, and could harm his chances.

As ever with this competition, let’s have no expectations at all, and anything on top of that is a bonus.
