DP World Tour Golf Betting Tips & Betting Offers: Australian Open

The Australian swing of the DP World Tour continues in full throttle with the Australian Open this week.
Elvis Smylie clinched his first BMW Australian PGA Championship title in Brisbane with a wire-to-wire victory, holding off pre-tournament favourite Cam Smith in the process which will have caught many in the golfing community by surprise.
Laying claim to be the oldest event staged Down Under, the Australian Open dates back over 100 years to 1904.
Now, co-staged with the DP World Tour, this tournament takes place on two courses (Kingston Heath and Victoria Golf Club), and both are aesthetically pleasing.
Scrambling will be key this week, with Adam Scott among the past winners on the honours board. Kingston Heath will determine who will be crowned champion, and it could make for compelling viewing.
Ahead of the first tee, I have offered up some DP Tour golf betting tips for you to tuck into, plus the top golf betting offers from the best golf betting sites.

Australian Open Championship Preview
Cam Smith will have rued not being able to pip Smylie to the Australian PGA Championship last weekend, and he was well within contention.
However, Smith’s pronounced struggles with the flat stick haunted him, with a three-putt at the par fourth, and he bogeyed the sixth too.
Although Smith managed to trim Smylie’s lead to two at the top on the back nine, he couldn’t reel him in.
When on form, Smith can be an unstoppable force, but he needs to address his putting woes.
Last week, I backed Smith and while he finished runner-up at the Australian PGA Championship, I’m not going to shy away from him this weekend.
I may have put my head on the block here, but Cam Smith is worth backing at 13/2 with bet365 to capture the title.
Cam Davis to be in the picture on the final day
While Smylie grabbed most of the headlines last weekend, Cam Davis was plodding along and going about his business quietly.
A T6 finish at the Australian PGA Championship represented a solid week, and Davis finished with a 68 to shoot -9 overall.
There have been some solid displays from Davis throughout the season, including a T12 at The Masters and a T26 at the Scottish Open.
Although he has only featured a handful of times on the DP World Tour over the past 12 months, he could catch fire at the Australian Open.
I may not be backing Cam Davis to win this weekend, but he could feature in the final pairing on Sunday, and bet365 has once again delivered with a tempting 16/1 price.
