Argentina were denied a point late on with a bizarre VAR intervention that forced the teams to leave the field before returning later, and that was a bit of a shock on the opening day. With a relatively strong squad, I think Argentina will fancy themselves to do well so they need to bounce back against Iraq, and they shouldn’t have any problems doing that.

Spain have been handed a pretty generous draw with Uzbekistan and Dominican Republic in their opening two games. They conceded in their opener despite claiming the win 2-1, but this time around I think they will manage to keep out a DR side who went goalless against Egypt.
USA to beat New Zealand
The USA have a poor record in football at the Olympics, and it was a tough start to their group stage against hosts France. I think they have got some decent players in their squad so should fancy getting over the line against New Zealand, who beat Guinea in their opener and might be a tough opponent.
France to win -2.5
There was no surprise to see France beat USA convincingly, putting three goals past them. They have gone fairly big in the home tournament with Thierry Henry leading them and Alexandre Lacazette and Michael Olise in the side so I think they will continue to rack them up. Guinea look like the weakest team in the group so another win will guarantee progress.
