They will surely try to keep the momentum going against underdog Albania. Backing Red Fury to win to nil is the best bet here in my opinion.
Draw in Croatia vs Italy
The last three head to head meetings between Croatia and Italy have ended without a winner. Gli Azzurri would be perfectly happy with a draw here, as it would almost guarantee them 2nd place in the group. Croatia were inconsistent so far in the tournament and I don’t think they have what it takes to claim the first win, so a stalemate is tipped.
Colombia to beat Paraguay
Colombia’s confidence is going through the roof right now, having won eight matches straight ahead of the Copa America 2024. Recently they crushed the United States 5-1 and Bolivia 3-0, while Paraguay scored just one goal in their last five matches.

As we head into crunch time at this tournament, I’m expecting things to open up a bit more as teams go hell for leather trying to get the win and book their place in the last 16.
You wouldn’t typically expect Italy to be involved in such a thriller, but Croatia’s 2-2 draw with Albania showed both the best and worst of them and they have no choice but to go all out against Italy, who should be good enough to pick them off.

As with the goals, I think the situation the two sides find themselves in should lead to a pretty aggressive match. Croatia’s side is pretty uncompromising at the best of times but they will be hurt by their form so far at this year’s tournament and will be fired up to prove a point.
Italy have long had a reputation for being pretty cynical and giving away tactical fouls, so in the face of a fired-up Croatia side they may need to resort to some dark arts which could see them pick up a couple of cards.
