With the international break taking place, many of the best betting sites are putting an extra focus on League One and League Two this weekend.
It’s no change for us though, as regular pundit and EFL expert Gab Sutton is back with his look at the biggest games of the weekend.
Crewe v Morecambe Preview
The biggest worry for Crewe, from their first four games, would be their lack of creativity.
They fashioned next to nothing on the opening day 1-0 loss at Barrow, likewise the goalless home draw with Swindon, which was essential a reaction of solidification to the 5-0 home hammering by Chesterfield, in which they were three down just 11 minutes in.
While the Alex did manage to win 2-1 at Bromley last week, they started slowly in that one, too, and only really took the initiative when they realized their hosts weren’t offering much.
The biggest worry for Morecambe, on the other hand, would be that they’ve not scored yet – losing all four of their opening encounters by one goal to nil.
The Shrimps have been competitive in all their games and, in Saturday’s defeat to Newport, they peppered the opposition goal, thanks to some good individual performances across the team, but were missing a killer touch.
The three striker options available to Derek Adams are Hallam Hope, who might have got a National League North move in the summer were it not for Morecambe’s predicament, Marcus Dackers, who would otherwise have only got non-league interest for a loan move from fellow strugglers Salford, and Lee Angol, who hasn’t started more than 14 league games in any of his previous four seasons.
