Chelsea v Servette Betting Tips, Odds & Match Preview - Conference League Betting Tips

After opening their campaign up with a Premier League defeat to Manchester City, Chelsea can hit back immediately as they start Europa Conference League qualifying against Swiss side Servette.

There will be plenty of eyes on how Enzo Maresca utilises his squad after another busy week in the transfer market at Stamford Bridge.

I’ve reviewed the best football betting offers, odds, and markets from our selection of top football betting sites to bring you free betting tips for Chelsea v Servette.

Chelsea v Servette Match Preview

I think this is a really interesting match, and Chelsea’s progress in the Europa Conference League generally this season should be a fascinating watch.

It should provide an ideal arena for new manager Maresca to bed in a few new ideas, and with such a big squad available to him it should allow him to rotate, try out new combinations and blood some of the younger players.

There has been plenty of criticism of Chelsea’s approach to various transfer windows under Todd Boehly, but it is pretty clear that they have signed some really talented players and they just need the right environment in order to reach their potential - the big question is whether Chelsea is the right place for that.

Given that they have so many players available, it is hard to predict what sort of side they might put out but if you have the likes of Pedro Neto, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Noni Madueke and Reece James all pushing for starts, then you have a lot of good options.

On top of that you have players like Christopher Nkunku or Romeo Lavia both looking to get their Chelsea careers up and running after injury-hit years and Mykhailo Mudryk desperate to provide himself, and all of a sudden you should have quite a hungry squad all looking to make an impression.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Maresca was a bit more careful with Cole Palmer’s minutes at this stage of the season after a busy summer, but I think he will use this game as a way to get a good early win under their belts and almost put qualification to bed.

It could be a really valuable tournament for Chelsea this season in terms of keeping the squad happy - Raheem Sterling apart - so they should be taking it seriously, and that’s why I’m going to start with Chelsea to score over 3.5 goals in this first game, which you can find at 9/5 with Paddy Power.

Nkunku is one player I am really looking forward to watching this season after the impact he made in Germany, and the noises from Chelsea’s pre-season have all been really positive.

He was forced to play out wide against Manchester City for tactical reasons but I’m expecting him to have more influence in this game (if he starts), and 9/2 with Betfred for him to score a brace looks a tempting bet for me.
