The 2024 NFL regular season concludes on Sunday, 5 January, with several games carrying significant playoff implications. Here, we provide our top Broncos v Chiefs tips in the form of a bet builder.
While the 15-1 Kansas City Chiefs have already secured the No. 1 seed in the AFC, the 9-7 Denver Broncos can clinch a playoff spot with a victory in Week 18. These AFC West rivals face off for the second time this season, with Kansas City narrowly defeating Denver 16-14 in Week 10.
Leading UK betting sites list the Broncos as heavy 10.5-point home favourites, with the total set at 39.5 points, as the Chiefs are expected to rest their key players.

Bo Nix Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns
The Chiefs have nothing to play for in this game. With Kansas City expected to rest its starters, attention turns to the Broncos, who are in dire need of a victory.
Denver will aim to exploit weaknesses in Kansas City’s secondary, as the Chiefs boast one of the league's strongest run defences, allowing only 98.3 rushing yards per game (4th in the NFL) and 4.2 yards per carry (7th).
The Broncos will rely heavily on Bo Nix’s passing game to move the chains and maximise their scoring chances. Kansas City has conceded 20 receiving touchdowns compared to just 12 on the ground this season.
Nix is enjoying a commendable rookie campaign, with 3,454 passing yards, 25 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions to his name. Impressively, he has thrown for at least two touchdowns in six of his last seven outings, making him a focal point of our Broncos v Chiefs tips.
Last week, Nix delivered 219 yards, three touchdowns, and an interception during Denver’s 30-24 overtime loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. The previous week, he threw for 263 yards and two touchdowns in a 34-27 defeat against the Los Angeles Chargers.
In Week 10, when the Chiefs narrowly edged out the Broncos 16-14, Nix completed 22 of 30 passes for 215 yards and two touchdowns.
Marvin Mims Over 29.5 Receiving Yards
Marvin Mims Jr. is a classic speedster whose abilities allow the Broncos to stretch opposing defences. Mims has been in exceptional form recently, recording 23 receptions for 383 yards and four touchdowns in his last six games.
In five of those six outings, Mims has recorded at least 44 receiving yards. Last week, the Pro Bowl returner delivered a standout performance, catching all eight of his targets for 103 yards and two touchdowns.
When the Broncos faced the Chiefs in Week 10, Mims managed four receptions for just 13 yards. However, he has made significant strides since then, with the Broncos now effectively integrating him into their offensive scheme.
It would be surprising if the Chiefs, likely fielding their backups, can limit Mims to under 30 receiving yards in Week 18. One explosive play is all Mims needs to clear this line.
