Bayern Munich Women v Arsenal Women Match Preview
It has not been the start to their WPL season that Arsenal would have wanted, being held to a draw by Everton after a creditable point in their opener against Manchester City.
With a narrow win over Leicester as well, it means they are still unbeaten after just three games but they will be frustrated after failing to get over the line last time out and as a result already dropping a point behind Chelsea and a further point off Man City.
Things don't get much easier either, with a Champions League trip to Munich to face Bayern in a rematch of the 2022/23 quarter-finals, when Arsenal came out on top in a 2-1 win over the two legs.
Since that semi-final appearance however, Arsenal have dropped away and failed to make it past qualifying last season which leaves them a shadow of their former selves and facing a tough test with Juventus also in their European group.
