Belgium Euro 2024 Betting Offers, Odds and Predictions

We have a range of Euro 2024 betting offers, enhanced odds and betting tips available across every team as we build up to the tournament in Germany. This page will feature everything you need to know about Belgium in the build-up and throughout the tournament, as we offer regular tips and the latest odds ahead of each game.

Euro 2024 is more than likely Belgium’s last shot at success with the remaining players from their ‘golden generation’.

Kevin De Bruyne is 32, Romelu Lukaku is 30 and Jan Vertonghen is 36, with the likes of Eden Hazard and Toby Alderweireld having already retired from international football.

Said players have so far failed to live up to expectations for their country, with back-to-back quarter-final finishes at Euro 2016 and 2020 their best showings.

Belgium Euro 2024 Top Tip

Belgium have one of the easier Euro 2024 groups, facing off with Slovakia, Ukraine and Romania for a spot in the knockout phase.

The Red Devils are clear favourites to top Group E and as a result, should be handed a fairly easy tie in the round of 16.

But, as this side have shown on numerous occasions over the last several years, once they have to face one of the bigger teams in a major tournament, they crumble. Therefore, Belgium are more than likely set to be eliminated in the quarter-finals this summer.

Belgium’s Road to Qualification

Belgium booked their spot at Euro 2024 with relative ease, going undefeated in Group F.

Belgium were drawn alongside Austria, Sweden, Azerbaijan and Estonia. Domenico Tedesco’s side won six, drew two, lost zero, scored 22 and conceded just four in their eight qualifying games.

They were held by Austria and Sweden in two of their qualifiers, while their biggest wins saw them beat Azerbaijan and Estonia 5-0.

When are Belgium’s Euro 2024 games?

Belgium will play three Euro 2024 group games. The opponents and dates can be found below:

  • Group C - Belgium vs Slovakia, June 17.
  • Group C - Belgium vs Romania, June 22.
  • Group C - Ukraine vs Belgium, June 26.

Belgium’s Road to the Final

Anyone who is looking at backing Belgium for success will want to know how they can get to the final. Their paths are determined by where they finish in the group, either first, second or third - and here are the various permutations that they will have to navigate.

Round of 16

  • If Belgium win Group E - Their last 16 game will be against one of the third-place teams from Group A/B/C/D. This game will be played on July 2.
  • If Belgium are runners up in Group E - Their last 16 game will come against the runner-up of Group D - most likely the Netherlands. This game will be played on July 2.
  • If Belgium finish third in Group E (and accumulate enough points to advance to the knockout stage) - Their last 16 game will be against either the winner of Group B - Spain, Italy, Croatia, Albania- or the winner of Group C - England, Denmark, Slovenia, Serbia. These games will be played on June 30 or July 2.

Quarter-Finals

  • If Belgium win Group E - They will face the winner of the last-16 clash between the Group D winner vs the runner-up in Group F. On paper, their most likely opponent will be France. This game will be played on July 6.
  • If Belgium are runners up in Group E - They will face the winner of the last-16 clash between the Group F winner vs one of the 3rd-place teams from Group A/B/C/. Their most likely opponent would be Portugal (coming in as Group F winners). This game will be played on July 5.
  • If Belgium finish third in Group E (and accumulate enough points to advance to the knockout stage) - They will either face the winner of the last-16 clash between Group A’s winner and C’s runners-up or the winner of the game between Group A’s runner-up and Group B’s runner-up. These games will be played on July 5 or July 6.

Semi-Finals

  • If Belgium win Group E - Many assumptions have to be made by the time we get to this stage, but if things go as expected, Belgium will face either England, France, Switzerland or Italy in the semi-final. This game will be played on July 10.
  • If Belgium are runners up in Group E - Again, a lot of assumptions need to be made here but Belgium’s most likely opponents are Germany, Portugal or Spain. This game will be played on July 9.
  • If Belgium finish third in Group E (and accumulate enough points to advance to the knockout stage) - Given how the third-place teams are put into the knockout phase, Belgium could face any of the teams mentioned above. These games will be played on July 9 or July 10.

Final

  • If Belgium win Group E - On the opposing side of the draw in this scenario would be the likes of Germany, Spain, or Portugal - of said clubs, Spain seem the most likely to make it to the final. The final will be played on July 14.
  • If Belgium are runners up in Group E - On the opposing side of the draw in this scenario would be the likes of France, England, Italy or Slovakia.
  • If Belgium finish third in Group E (and accumulate enough points to advance to the knockout stage) - Belgium could be put onto either side of the draw depending on how they rank among the third-place teams, meaning they could face any of the big hitters we have mentioned above.

Euro 2024

Belgium’s Key Players

Kevin De Bruyne - If Belgium are to make it past the quarter-final stage of Euro 2024, they will need Kevin De Bruyne at his best. De Bruyne is the best midfielder in world football right now and was crucial in Manchester City’s treble-winning season. Even in 2023/24 when he has had a number of injury issues, he has still provided 13 assists in 14 games for the Sky Blues at the time of writing. De Bruyne has scored 26 and assisted 49 for Belgium, making him the country’s record assist holder.

Romelu Lukaku - De Bruyne’s main task in Germany will be feeding Belgium’s star striker, Romelu Lukaku. Lukaku has had his ups and downs at club level over the years, but he remains a consistent threat for Belgium. He is their all-time top scorer with 83 goals - more than double the tally of 2nd-place Eden Hazard (36).

Thibaut Courtois - The weakest part of Belgium’s current squad is their defence. This is evident by the fact a 36-year-old Jan Vertonghen is still being relied upon to start regularly. In turn, a lot of pressure will be put on Thibaut Courtois to keep out goals. However, the Real Madrid man is one of the best shot-stoppers in Europe and should be up to the task this summer.
